You can cross over the main Lake Road to start an enchanting and romantic woodland walk leading to a footpath beside Lake Windermere and the Steamboat Museum. Only a few minutes walk will bring you to the lake shore at Bowness where you will find boats for hire and steamers for lake cruisers, giving you time to enjoy the outstanding scenery.
